Help us launch the Indigenous Rights Report podcast

By John Ahni Schertow

Intercontinental Cry (IC) needs your help to launch a new weekly podcast that covers the Indigenous world. Right now, we have 43 people on board which means we need to find another 57 to get started. We have four weeks to make it happen!

Why are we doing this? Two years ago, the northern broadcasting legend and Inuvialuit leader, Les Carpenter, asked me to produce a show that would focus on the world’s 5,000 Indigenous nations. We spent two years approaching foundations to produce the show; but no one was interested in backing something by Indigenous peoples for Indigenous Peoples. Now we are doing it with everyone for everyone.

It’s our goal to bring you a hard-hitting 30-minute report each week that covers everything you need to know. We are calling it, “The Indigenous Rights Report“.

Heard enough? We hope not. Head over to Patreon now or visit IC and click “become a patron”.

Once we reach our goal of 100 supporters, we will have what we need to bring the indigenous world to your headphones and to every indigenous and community radio station across the country.

And that’s only the beginning. As our show grows and matures, we want to launch more podcasts that no one has ever seen before. We already have a few shows in mind; but let’s not get a head of ourselves. In order to do anything, we need you to head over to Patreon now and support The Indigenous Rights Report!
