At the 10th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous People’s Issues, Cultural Survival hosted an official Side Event. Theme: Creating community dialogue on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) through the use of community controlled media.

Moderated by Suzanne Benally, Executive Director of Cultural Survival, panelists included Cesar Gomez, of Guatemala, Les Malezer, of Australia, and Kenneth Deer, of Canada.
