Paul de Armond, the former research director at Public Good Project, passed away peacefully yesterday. In 2001, Paul was presented the Whatcom Human Rights Task Force award for putting his life on the line organizing opposition to anti-Indian, property rights, Christian Patriot, white supremacist militias in Washington state. Paul was a featured speaker at the 1996 Center for World Indigenous Studies conference on The Politics of Land and Bigotry.

We're fighting for our lives

Indigenous Peoples are putting their bodies on the line and it's our responsibility to make sure you know why. That takes time, expertise and resources - and we're up against a constant tide of misinformation and distorted coverage. By supporting IC you're empowering the kind of journalism we need, at the moment we need it most.
