Toromona

Introduction

The Toromona are one several Indigenous Peoples in South America who live in voluntary isolation, which means they do not interact with the ‘outside’ world.

A Norwegian biologist, Lars Hafskjold, once undertook an exhaustive search for the Toromona.

He disappeared in 1997.
