The changing horizon of the Arctic and Indigenous Nordic lands poses a challenge to international law and governance. Battle for the North, a symposium at Michigan State University College of Law, takes place February 21-22. International security; indigenous peoples; environmental law; governance of the Arctic; exploration, exploitation and transportation of oil, gas and minerals; and the law of the sea round out the agenda.

We're fighting for our lives

Indigenous Peoples are putting their bodies on the line and it's our responsibility to make sure you know why. That takes time, expertise and resources - and we're up against a constant tide of misinformation and distorted coverage. By supporting IC you're empowering the kind of journalism we need, at the moment we need it most.
