Hey Carver. Honestly, time and I have a pretty fickle relationship these days. He's constantly partying with his friends, drinking and gambling. I can never seem to get him to just stay home... I really think I'm going to have to hold an intervention soon, hahaha.

You're absolutely right--but that pattern has really begun to change now. I mean, in the past we could afford to dance around in bureaucracy and sort-of do things on their terms. But now governments and corporations are picking up the pace -- pushing harder and wanting more, (whatever's 'left'.) and the bureaucracy is increasingly being side-stepped altogether, along with any remaining illusions of democracy and law. They are just going in, taking the land, exploiting the land, evicting the people, arresting the people... and then moving on to the next project, doing the same thing over and over again, like a legion of lumberjacks in a forest.

And so, we are left with no choice but to stop playing around and get to work... More and more movements are emerging in the name of defending the land and ourselves. More and more effort is being put towards abandoning anything to do with Colonial Society (politics, perspectives, products, processes), and returning to a sustainable, interdependent life that we live on our own terms, period.

And at the same time, we are actively engaging every reasonable option we can conceive of, realizing the sacredness of having real solutions, of learning from our mistakes, becoming better people, and doing better work.

At the rate things are going, this is going to continue, hands down. There's just no other choice -- because to do nothing or to continue as we have in the past translates into no less than our non-existence.

Respectfully,
A.

Hello old friend, Hoping that time finds you well.

Thanks again for the info of late, very eye-opening!!! Indead!

I am seeing the same pattern all over again. It doesn't matter where in the world you are... all of our Brother's and Sister's are lost on the colo- paper trail and trying to regain what was stolen and is being stolen off their lands, while the peoples settel for less.

It is all in the wording and who is interpretting, Know what I mean...
