The following training manual was originally authored by the Indigenous Knowledge Project (IKP) specifically for the Barabaig villagers and women’s group in Katesh.

It provides a practical introduction to a number of topics including Food Security, Nutrition and Vitamin Deficiency, Rainwater Harvesting, Compost making and Garden Planning.

The IKP has released the manual to the Public Domain, which means you are free to adapt, modify or expand the training manual as you see fit.

To obtain an editable copy of the manual, please contact IKP at indigenousknowledgeproject@gmail.com

We're fighting for our lives

Indigenous Peoples are putting their bodies on the line and it's our responsibility to make sure you know why. That takes time, expertise and resources - and we're up against a constant tide of misinformation and distorted coverage. By supporting IC you're empowering the kind of journalism we need, at the moment we need it most.
