Native protesters in Caledonia got some help yesterday, when 100 chiefs from across the province marched in support of their land claim standoff — on the 99th day of the First Nations protest.

In light of how Canada seems to be intent on allowing/inciting a violent confrontation with the Six Nations, to address this Federal-Jurisdiction matter in Caledonia, I thought I might share some thoughts which I hope will be considered and used towards Canada’s acceptance of their role in the Nation-to-Nation relationship with the Haudenosaunee, rather than see violence occur by Canada criminally ignoring their responsibilites, and acting as a group of boneless thugs that believes itself superior to it’s own people, the Orignal People’s of this land, the Law of the land, and its very own Canadian Law.)

MNN. March 20, 2006. Canada gives international law the finger. “Screw you”, says Canada. Ontario Superior Court Judge David Marshall, said, “I know you poor people have been victimized for so long. I understand how you feel”, he cooed in a patronizing tone. Marshall said the last thing he wanted to do was to send protesters to jail or give them criminal records for their beliefs. Someone suggested he step down because he has land in the disputed area. He ignored the request and slapped the protesters with a court injunction.
