Thank you for your reply and aswer.
Have been following The Native Culture for some time now..
..and when I was a little girl, there where Natives in my hometown.Remember being impressed by the simple things they could make from apple pits and their dignity
Tried to search on the net,why they where there..I do believe that they tried to let the International Court of Justice (ICJ) listen to the genoicide that took place and now it is in a more hidden agenda.
Ever since I have read Burry my Heart At Wounded Knee,i became more active and wanted to learn a lot about it.(without walking the Red Path)
Do believe you are right, was in Ireland on holiday and there where a lot of Americans searching their roots>payed for it big time.More a tourist activity.
And the prophecy of the First Nation is becoming reality.
Was at a Medicine Wheel Gathering (held for the first time..)and there was a lot of learning to do,but one AIM member said that he didnt have too many listerers (know why..we all feel ashamed about what happend and carry this deep inside)He siad some things that was a realitycheck.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDE2riJVC0A.
I do not want to make the mistake of my ancestors and dont want to walk the path of greed,so took my childern with me and it was great.
If you need any help with what so ever...
Will pass this on www.care2.com if that is ok with you.

Hi Ester.

Is it because they are afraid of the First Nation becoming stronger or is it because they are childern of my ancestors and dont realy belong there…?

There's really alot of different reasons for the fear. Personally, I think it's mainly about guilt and a desire for identity, culture and place --- which Americans (and Canadians) have never really had. And now, believing they are comfortable and living their own life, it's all become a matter of principle, a cultural and political 'given.'

Ignorance plays a big part too. The average American has never been exposed to the truth of history, and in many cases, if they heard it now, they would deny it because it would mean they've been living a lie their entire life. It seems like most people would rather "stick to their guns" than admit that.

If we look at the top of the food chain though, we'll find that those in power know their empire is nothing more than a pile of mud held together by toothpicks and masking tape. They've always known it... but they will never admit it publicy.

They're also desperately afraid of us coming together, definitely... and then seeing the situation for what it is (we're really only just starting to...) and acting on it.

Maybe it should have given more attention and post these things everywhere.indymedia and so on..

Thanks for the encouragement Ester. I've been thinking lately about trying to bring more attention to the news here -- alot of it is terribly underexposed. I will pass in to indymedia...

Have read the article and am amazed that the people of the U.S. are showing their fear so easly.
Is it because they are afraid of the First Nation becoming stronger or is it because they are childern of my ancestors and dont realy belong there...?
The First Nation took care of the Land and now it is one of the most poluted Lands of the World.
The Profecy of the First Nation is becoming more recent and of all times.
We should learn from them instead of fearing them.
Wishing people would learn to listen to eachother and that I have more oppertunity's to learn from them.It has improven my life and left a big impression on my spirit.
Maybe it should have given more attention and post these things everywhere.indymedia and so on..
Thank you and rise up for what you believe in....
