<description>All that is mentioned in this brochure shows the most powerful link: our ancestores, us, our future and God. All of this is stored in the most sacred place, our hearts. When our people stand and speak from the heart it is most powerful.
I come from a community that has a ratio of 10 / 700+ that either know, understand or actually takes the initiative to educate our people about the effects of the treaty.
The system has it that we are to stand up for our rights within our own communities as the treaty groups are given authority to form societies which take away the voice of the community members.
What a comfort to know that there are so many other people out there that are echoing this message.
My spirit cries for the day that all first nations people join hands and make a public stand together.
High Regards,
