Was in Long Kerong early october07 . I am a dental surgeon , a volunteer of the Rotary Club Community Service Project . Long Kerong is a beautiful peacefull vilage , untouched by the outside world . Compared to many other places where the loggers have brought in not only destruction of ancient forests ,devoiding these people of their lively hood and dignity . The young who were educated in boarding schools are lured to join the timber company with promises of wealth . Whats happening in Baram is sad .
