    a great overview.. thank you Graham.. I’d like to see a part 2 follow up with more info on how the mining companies are spinning the story with their ‘corporate social responsibility’ policies or rather tying aid to industrial development. Also, the companies are often playing up on divisions within communities and creating a lot of conflict by offering economic incentives which benefit individuals rather than the whole community. The argument of creating jobs is really prevalent here in Canada too when it comes to sacrificing the land and promoting unsustainable and harmful development.
