Could you possibly post the contact information for Frontenac so that we can start calling and writing to them, letting them know that everyone is watching them?

Also, the contact information for the government officials would be good

Iam 47 years old but as a 16 year old I lived with an uncle in northern saskachewan in a place called uranium city.
The city is no longer there , I dont know what all has happend but even back then it was plain to see the destruction. Maybe the native Chippewas that lived there can help answer some questions ?

I am fully behind the First Nations on this. I am a non-native environmentalist who firmly rejects the continued colonization of Aboriginals who were here first. I can't believe we haven't gotten it right yet, let alone make up for the incredible damage we've done. I say NO to corporate greed and YES to Indigenous ownership and the health of our sacred Mother Earth.
peace to all who fight in this struggle.

Pursuant to my previous comment regarding the U.N Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, this is basically about "Free Prior and Informed Consent" as opposed to "Free Entry" (Ref: http://www.miningwatch.ca/index.php??/Free_Entry).

Let us stand united. The truth is on our side, and it will set us all free.

I Michelle. I Haven't heard anything about any fund raising events yet, but a call just went out a couple days ago for food and supplies: here's the details (ps I will continue to provide updates on the situation. I'll throw a comment on here when I do---Ahni.

QUICK ACTION PHONE LIST

A note to our new members: We have a "Quick Action Phone List" for those who wish to be called if a non-native presence is needed at the protest site ASAP. There isn't a limit on your location, as we do not wish to exclude anyone, but in most cases it is good to be located within 30 minutes of the site on the #509, as the QAPL is usually only used in short notice situations.

If you would like to be on this list please send me your name and phone
number.

THE RULES OF ENGAGMENT WHILE AT THE SITE

• We must not trespass on private land. Unlike the First Nations People, we must stay on the road allowance (The road side of the gate.)

• Be positive and respectful with everyone.

• You are there as an observer not as a representative of any group,
so do not speak about issues you are unsure about. It is important not to
promote inflammatory rumors as it can harm our position. Refer people to our pamphlet for information.

• If you are asked to move or leave, by the First Nations or the police, do so immediately and respectfully.

NOTES FROM CHERYL NASH

Hi Folks,

Here's the list of base camp food and supply needs as of this evening:

FOOD NEEDS:
• Meat of any kind!
• bottled water
• eggs
• milk
• chips
• fruit (especially grapes)

Fresh food drop off locations are as follows:

Graham Beck/Little Stream Bakery, Glen Tay/Christie Lake Roads
• bring food in a clearly marked box, and connect with a staff person

Allan and Susan Brown/Noble Bean
2393 County Road 36
• go in the side door of Noble Bean and leave food on the counter. You can leave food in the fridge if necessary

Brooke Valley School
• leave food in one of the boxes on the counter or in the fridge inside the school

Foodsmiths, 106 Wilson St. W. Perth
• a basket with a sign is at the front of the store. If you need
refrigeration, talk to a staff person

Because of the uncertainty of the situation at the base camp, it is really important that we build up a stockpile of frozen food to draw on when we need it. Frozen dishes are moved to the base camp almost as soon as they're dropped off! Please take the time to put together a casserole, stew etc. and drop it off at any of the following freezer locations:

Freezer Food Drop Off Locations:

Brooke Valley School - the freezer's outside and behind the school on the
right hand side if you're facing the school (call me at 268-2881 if you need help)

Pulse Foods/Christine Kilgour & John Baranyi, off the Rosetta Road,
613-256-6638

Glennis Harwig 1st Line Ramsay Township 613-256-3188

Janet Duncan: 11th Line Ramsay Township 613-256-2933

Elizabeth Proudfoot: next door to the camp 613-279-2698

Phyllis James: 5th Concession, east of Harper Road, Tay Valley Township
613-267-4003

Steve and Rosie Kotze, Elphin 613-278-2277

Instructions for Freezer Food

• label your container with its contents and date
• write down what you've delivered and the date on the master list on top of the freezer
• if you want your dish back, put your name and phone number on it.

NEEDED SUPPLIES:

• gasoline for the generator on-site (if it's possible, fill up your own
gerry cans and bring them to the camp entrance to empty into others)
• propane tanks (you could fill up a spare, drop it off and pick it up when you visit again)
• camp propane cooking cylinders
• 10W30 motor oil - 2 gallons

Thanks for this.

Foodsmiths, 106 Wilson St. W. Perth
• a basket with a sign is at the front of the store. If you need

Because of the uncertainty of the situation at the base camp, it is really important that we build up a stockpile of frozen food to draw on when we need it. Frozen dishes are moved to the base camp almost as soon as they’re dropped off! Please take the time to put together a casserole, stew etc. and drop it off at any of the following freezer locations:

Freezer Food Drop Off Locations:

Brooke Valley School - the freezer’s outside and behind the school on the
right hand side if you’re facing the school (call me at 268-2881 if you need help)

Pulse Foods/Christine Kilgour & John Baranyi, off the Rosetta Road,

Glennis Harwig 1st Line Ramsay Township 613-256-3188

Janet Duncan: 11th Line Ramsay Township 613-256-2933

Instructions for Freezer Food

• label your container with its contents and date
• write down what you’ve delivered and the date on the master list on top of the freezer
• if you want your dish back, put your name and phone number on it.

NEEDED SUPPLIES:

• gasoline for the generator on-site (if it’s possible, fill up your own
gerry cans and bring them to the camp entrance to empty into others)
• camp propane cooking cylinders

As a non-native I want to stand in solidarity with you. If at all possible, please post information regardng fund-raising events as well as other Algonquin protest and information tolls.

I beleive that letters to our new Minister of Northern and Indian Affairs Chuck Strahl as well as premier McGinty of Ontario might be in order.

Thank you and all the best.

We live in a time when we must learn to video tape, so that there can be no more misunderstandings. This should also come into effect when any band has any nogociations with any levels of government and even the media, We just have to look back at the media spin on situation at 6 Nations as proof.
